Greenfield Park, May 25, 2018<\/strong> – The Charles-LeMoyne Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2018 edition of the Serge-Lemieux Golf and Bike Classic has raised a net amount of $ 180,687.<\/p>\n

Presented under the honorary presidency of Mrs. Nadine Renaud-Tinker, President RBC Royal Bank – Quebec, the event, which was full, took place at the Pinegrove Golf Club in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, 144 golfers and about thirty cyclists lived a unique day, under the sign of generosity.<\/p>\n

This record sum will help improve the care offered to the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gienne community. In fact, this amount will be donated to the Cardiology Department of H\u00f4pital Charles-Le Moyne, which, serves the population of all of Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie in several of it’s specialty fields.<\/p>\n

SERGE-LEMIEUX AWARD<\/strong>
\nThe Classic is named after a volunteer and donor who has been involved with the Foundation for many years. To highlight this philanthropic spirit, the Serge-Lemieux Prize, which was awarded for the first time at the event, was awarded to Mr. Marcel Proulx, co-owner of Jean-Coutu pharmacies in Saint-Lambert and Greenfield Park. Mr. Proulx has been spreading the cause of the Foundation for more than 10 years by getting involved, among other things, in its various benefit events.<\/p>\n
